Final Countdown to the Central Park Challenge!
May 12, 2011
It’s not too late – register today! Be in the park on Saturday, June 4 for a fun-filled day that celebrates community inclusion while raising awareness and funds for services that benefit individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Central Park Challenge activities include a 3K Walk, 5K Run, children’s races (medals included!) and so much more! Participants will enjoy music, entertainment, face painting, spin-art, games and food.
Back by popular demand – the Chock full o'Nuts van will be serving up hot and iced coffee drinks to keep everyone energized, and The Pop Chips Snack Shack will be giving out bags of healthy chips. Morrisons Pastry Corp. will also be on site, supplying delicious baked goods for participants.
A welcome addition to the 2011 Central Park Challenge is NYC cosmedical spa Smooth Synergy. Not only will Smooth Synergy licensed massage therapists be at the event offering free massages to runners and walkers, but as an added incentive, participants who fundraise online can be eligible to receive Smooth Synergy coupons and gift certificates.
Need more motivation to sign up?
All registered participants will receive a specially designed Central Park Challenge T-shirt, created exclusively for the event by fashion industry leader Kay Unger New York.
What are you waiting for? Register, spread the word about the Central Park Challenge and learn more about Xi’Xi and Sherri’s extraordinary journeys with the YAI Network. See you in the park on June 4!
