YAI: Jeffrey's Job is a Dream Come True

Jeffrey, 29, has a developmental disability. He originally developed social skills at the YAI Network's Brooklyn Heights Day Services program. YAI's employment training programs helped him sharpen these skills and learn others for the workplace. Now, less than three months after starting his first job at Heartland Brewery, he appreciates his job coach's weekly visits, but no longer relies on them. He continues to gain confidence in his job every day.

    My heart goest to Jeffrey. He has managed to breach its boundaries to function in the outside world. The focused obviously has been on the individual and not on the disability. Good job YAI, you did it again! Excellent team work. And, Jeffrey, soon that ring will be on your girlfriends finger, no doubt about it.
