Immediate Service Openings at the Center for Specialty Therapy

Manhattan: There is ready availability for psychosocial and psychological evaluations (evening and Saturday hours available).
Queens:  There is ready availability for psychosocial and psychological evaluations (evening and Saturday hours available), and there is ready availability of psychotherapy. 
Brooklyn: There are Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking Social Workers available for psychotherapy and psychosocial evaluations at the Brooklyn Heights location (Remsen Street) with Saturday availability.
Bronx: There is ready availability for psychosocial evaluations.
Families living in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn who need evaluations to access OMRDD services but who do not have insurance can call YAI LINK at 212-273-6182.

YAI's Center for Specialty Therapy can provide access to the additional services and strengths of an experienced and caring human services staff, including primary health care, dental, home health, employment and family support services through the YAI/NIPD Network.

The YAI Center for Specialty Therapy is Uniquely qualified to serve people with a wide array of developmental and learning disabilities, including:

• intellectual disabilities
• autism spectrum disorders
• cerebral palsy
• epilepsy and seizure disorders
• neurological impairments
• other conditions related to developmental and physical disabilities

The Center for Specialty Therapy is an outpatient clinic licensed under Article 16 of the New York State Mental Hygiene Law. We provide services in our main center located in Manhattan, as well as in other setting throughout New York City. Services are covered by Medicaid, Medicare and some private insurances carriers.
