Dr. Vincent Carbone has more than 30 years of experience in designing learning environments for people with autism. Here, he shares his wisdom on what approaches work best; what to think about when a child is diagnosed with autism; and what the future holds.
His behavior analytic research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals including School Application of Learning Theory, Education and Treatment of Children, Journal of Special Education Technology, Journal of Corrective and Social Psychiatry, The Analysis of Verbal Behavior (2007), and Speech Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Carbone currently serves on the editorial review boards of two peer-reviewed journals: the Journal of Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention and Speech Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis.
