Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
Educate direct service professional staff regarding residents’ medical issues under supervision of an RN. LPNs can work in a clinical setting or in a group home setting.
Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Registered Nursing opportunities occur in a variety of locations:
Residential Facilities
Work in two or three group homes. Help to assess, plan, and implement medical care for residents. Oversee medical systems and in-service training of direct service staff. Participate in team meetings.
Premier HealthCare
Assist physicians in a primary care outpatient medical facility. Follow up with patient education and case management issues related to medical care and/or referrals. Work in a strong team environment with a professional staff of doctors, nurses, and medical support.
YAI Home Health Services
Provide nursing/medical service to patients with developmental disabilities in their homes.
Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
Work in primary care outpatient medical facilities.
