Brighter Futures Society
Young Professionals Making a Difference
YAI's Brighter Future Society (BFS) is a group of motivated young professionals who are committed to promoting YAI’s mission through social service. By volunteering in our programs or out in the community alongside YAI program participants, BFS members cultivate relationships, raise much-needed funds and support our goal of true community inclusion. BFS members have a wide range of professional backgrounds in publicity, design and media, finance, the arts, hotels, hospitality and more. The common thread of this diverse group: members really want to make a difference. You can too.
There are many opportunities to get involved as a Brighter Futures Society member:
Weekly arts & crafts, basketball, bowling and other recreational activities that encourage socialization, build relationships and self-esteem
Sponsor supplies or lessons for an artist in the YAI Arts program, including Gallery YAI
Help plan social events such as holiday parties, museum trips and concert outings for YAI participants or organize a fundraiser on behalf of YAI
Provide job shadowing or internships for YAI employment graduates who are prepared for meaningful work
Network with other young professionals who share a passion for philanthropy
You can make an impact. Join us today! For more information about the Brighter Futures Society, contact Alyssa Franklin at 212-273-6551 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
