A House Becomes a Home in Brooklyn

It began more than 10 years ago, when a group of young adults with developmental disabilities from Brooklyn dreamed of sharing their love for music, song and dance with the world.

Together, they formed a theater troupe, delighting audiences with their talent and creating lifelong friendships along the way.

As they became a family, their dream blossomed into the hope of creating a home. A place where they could continue to grow and support one another for the rest of their lives.

Today, thanks to the determination of these six individuals and their families, with the partnership of their friends, the government and YAI, their dream is coming true.
