We asked Dr. Vincent Carbone about the types of activities that parents of children with autism can use to facilitate their child’s development.
Dr. Vincent J. Carbone, Ed.D., BCBA is the Director of the Carbone Clinic and has more than 30 years of experience in designing learning environments for people with autism. Dr. Carbone is also a member of the YAI Network Autism Center Advisory Council. His behavior analytic research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals including School Application of Learning Theory, Education and Treatment of Children, Journal of Special Education Technology, Journal of Corrective and Social Psychiatry, The Analysis of Verbal Behavior (2007), and Speech Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Carbone currently serves on the editorial review boards of two peer-reviewed journals: the Journal of Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention and Speech Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis.
