How do I place an order?

• Mail this order form with a check or purchase order.
• Fax the order form with your check or purchase order number written on the form.

What about shipping and handling?

All materials are shipped via UPS Ground unless it is to a P.O. Box and then they are shipped via U.S. Postal Service Mail.  The products are shipped to you from our fulfillment house.

International Orders - Shipping and Handling:

Please contact us for rates. Most countries implement a surcharge for imported goods; these taxes are not collected by the YAI Network. Customers are responsible for possible surcharges for imported goods. If you are paying with a check or via a wire transfer please be aware of the bank processing fees applied to the conversion rates. We recommend all international customers pay with a credit card.

What if I need an order to be rushed to me?

Provided items are in stock we can rush your order for an additional charge. When you contact us we will need the following information to better assess the express shipping rates:
Desired Time of Delivery
Carrier Preference, UPS or FedEx

How long does it take to receive my order?

We have contracted with an outside fulfillment house that provides employment opportunities to people with disabilities. Usual delivery time is between 2-3 weeks.

Do I need to pay sales tax?

If you are a tax exempt organization in New York State you must attach, fax or mail a copy of your State Tax Exempt Certificate when ordering. If you are from any state other than New York, these tax laws do not apply.

What is your refund policy?

If you purchased a product that does not meet your needs, please return it within 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund of the purchase price. All products must be returned in original condition with a copy of the invoice enclosed and your reason for return. Please note that we do not refund shipping and handling charges. Curriculums are non- returnable.

Do you have a rental policy?

Due to costliness we are unable to rent our products. 

I noticed some of your DVDs come with a CD-ROM. What does it contain?

For training ease the product will arrive to you with two- discs (a DVD and a CD-ROM) the CD-ROM contains instructional written materials saved as PDF files for your print as many copies as needed. Both discs are clearly labeled. 

How do I use the CD-ROM?

The CD-ROM is compatible with a computer that has a CD or DVD drive.  You will receive detailed instructions on the back of the product box. You must have this free program on your computer to use and you can easily download here.

What is a digital download?

It is a written curriculum that you can print on your own after downloading it from the training store web site. These products are not available in another format.  

Is there a way to duplicate your products?

What is the YAI Resource Center?

The YAI Resource Center is a membership-based website offering easy access to hundreds of downloadable training manuals, presentations, activities, lesson plans and more.

What topics and age groups are addressed? 

The YAI Resource Center consists of more than 200 educational training materials addressing a full range of age groups from early childhood to geriatric. Each month new resources are added, the following topics are addressed:

What does a membership entail?

An annual membership provides you with your own username and password to download training materials from anywhere and at anytime. Members can purchase additional accounts for $25 each.

Is the membership fee non-refundable?

There is a 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the YAI Resource Center you will receive a refund for the price of purchase.

What is the process if I would like to contribute?

We know other organizations have wonderful training and teaching materials! A future goal of the Resource Center is to be able to accept materials from other organizations. Please email us at resourcecenter@yai.org

What type of computer programs do I need?

You will need to download Adobe Acrobat 9 and a Flash media player.
