At the YAI Network, we believe that, no matter our age or ability, continuing to learn and grow throughout our lives is essential for leading a vibrant, productive life.
Early Intervention and Preschools through the New York League for Early Learning
All children need nurturing in order to learn and grow. Children with developmental delays or disabilities need something extra — special, individualized assistance to reach the milestone of childhood and help to achieve their own and their families’ dreams.
Founded in 1979, the New York League for Early Learning joined the YAI Network in 1992. NYL helps children with developmental delays and disabilities to realize their full potential in nurturing and supportive learning environments. Services for infants include early intervention, including occupational, physical and speech therapy, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis. NYL also operates seven preschools throughout New York City.

The YAI Network offers a variety of Day Services options for adults with developmental disabilities, each with a focus on skill-building, community integration, social skills, volunteerism, creativity and cultivating each person's talents and interests. Many of our programs also offer a pre-vocational element to ready people to enter employment training programs or a work setting. Day Services are available throughout New York City, Long Island and Westchester County. Check out a gallery of art by participants in our Greenwich Village location.
