Are you ready for an adventure? YAI Leisure Trax is a unique travel program that promotes community inclusion by offering day, weekend and extended vacations to domestic and international destinations.  Our trips are all-inclusive. Costs cover round-trip transportation from a designated meeting place as well as lodging, meals, scheduled admissions and tours, taxes and gratuities and trained chaperones. 

Our program's goal is to look past diagnosis and through recreation create an environment which you learn about the world, your community and most importantly about yourself. This is so much more than a vacation!

Where does Leisure Trax travel?

Over the past three years we have been to Disney World, Spain, Morocco, Frost Valley YMCA, Rhode Island, Atlantic City, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Antigua, St. Thomas, Las Vegas, various broadway shows and sporting events.  If its out there, we want to explore it! 

Who travels with us?

People who are:

  • Are cooperative and considerate of others
  • At least 18 years old
  • Have an intellectual or learning disability
  • Are ambulatory
  • Enjoy traveling, making new friends and being with other people in small group settings                         
  • May have certain medical conditions that do not impair their safety or welfare during their travel
  • Are able to adjust within a reasonably short period of time to a new environment with the assistance of supportive staff

Check out our trip schedule released in May 2012 which covers travel through November 2012. A new brochure is scheduled to be released in July/August 2012.
