New Jersey: We have openings in our Support Group for Adults with Asperger's Syndrome in Bergen County, New Jersey. Contact LINK at 212-273-6182.

Manhattan Based Recreation Programs (including Manhattan Evening Adjustment Program and the Alumni Club): Recreation programs from Tuesday through Saturdays for people with developmental disabilities above the age of 18 and living in New York City. Activities include weeknight group activities and Saturday trips. All levels are welcome. No transportation provided. Contact Eric Kaiser at 212-645-1616, ext. 667.

Manhattan Family Reimbursement: Provides limited funds to families for services and goods that are not reimbursed through other existing programs or funding streams. For more information, please contact Shanique Soto at 212-273-6585.
Manhattan Autism Social Skills Group: Accepting applications for program teaching social skills to individuals on the Autism Spectrum residing with their parents in Manhattan. For more information, contact YAI LINK at 212-273-6182.
Parents With Special Needs: Accepting referrals for training for parents with Developnmental Disabilities who live with their children in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens. Contact Nafiza Rasheed at 212-793-2182, ext. 203.
Manhattan Overnight Respite: 24-hour professional supervision from Friday afternoon until Monday morning for children 5 years of age and older. Must be ambulatory. For more information, please contact Vanessa White Germany at 212-255-2673.
Independent Living Program: Six-month course for adults with developmental disabilities looking to develop independent living skills. For Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan residents. For application forms, please call Shanique Soto at 212-273-6585.
Brooklyn Children and Adolescent Program (BCAP): Saturday recreation program for children ages 6 and older. Contact Cheryl Jones at 718-743-5311, ext. 6313.
Brooklyn Leisure Trax: Recreation program for adults with developmental disabilities ages 18 and older. Contact Nefie White at 718-743-5311, ext. 6313.
Manhattan Holiday Respite: Accepting referrals for school holiday respite for children ages 6-18. For more information, please contact Tanicqua Pryor at 212-273-6503.
Project Intervene: Six-week toilet training program for parents of children with disabilities who live in Manhattan. For more information, please contact Rocio Ruiz at 212-273-6164.
Project Grow: Seven-week training for parents of children with developmental disabilities. This program is available to parents whose children live at home in Manhattan, the Bronx or Staten Island. Day and evening groups in English and Spanish are available. Queens Non-Medicaid Residential Habilitation: A service plan that focuses on training in behavior, personal care and skills development. Participants must have a diagnosis of autism or have behavioral issues. This is a residential habilitation service for those not eligible for Medicaid. For more information, please contact YAI LINK at 212-273-6182. Manhattan: There is ready availability of internal medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, podiatry, physiatry, audiology, prosthetics and orthotics, physical therapy, speech therapy (for adults) and a program for people with physical disabilities.
Queens: There is ready availability of internal medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, podiatry, gynecology, physical therapy and speech therapy.
Bronx: There is ready availability of pediatrics, opthamology, prosthetics and orthotics and dentistry.
Brooklyn: There is ready availability of internal medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, audiology, gynecology, podiatry and endocrinology.

Brooklyn: There is ready availability for psychosocial evaluations in English at our Nostrand site.
Queens: There is ready availability for psychosocial evaluations (evening and Saturday hours available), and there is ready availability of psychotherapy.
Families living in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn who need evaluations to access OMRDD services but who do not have insurance can call YAI LINK at 212-273-6182.

There are openings city wide for people with developmental disabilities who are employed and who need follow-along support services.

Certified Home Health Agency

Openings for all five boroughs for skilled nursing visits; physical, speech and occupational therapies; medical and rehab; and home health aid services. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and some private insurance.
