Gathering with Families for the Holidays

Fri, January 06, 2012

Our Family Holiday Party here at Levittown was our biggest gathering of families for the entire year. We had over 40 people visiting the residence.

We had a pot luck luncheon, and all of the families brought in food for the celebration. There was a turkey, baked ziti, bagels, muffins, fruit and vegetable trays, as well as an assortment of desserts. Although the food and company were wonderful, the best part of the day was definitely the looks on the faces of the residents getting to see their families and friends.

The staff put a lot of thought into the gifts that the residents received. They were all very excited to open up their gifts. All of them also helped in making gifts for their families in arts and crafts group. Jon Santiago, PM Direct Service Professional, helped them make candle votives by etching glass. It was a great day all around!
