Advocates for Children of New York has posted a recording of their NYC Summer Learning 2020: Making Sense of the DOE's Plans for Summer 2020 webinar on their Youtube channel. The webinar covered the Department of Education's plans for summer learning 2020: what it means for students, who must do summer school, who can do summer school, and what supports will be available — including for students with IEPs and students learning English. They also covered advocacy tips to keep in mind as the remote school year comes to an end. Slides from this webinar are available online.
This resource is for New York City residents.
