Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine: A Social Story for People with Developmental Disabilities

The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical created a social story for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help explain getting the COVID-19 vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine is a medicine that prevents people from getting COVID-19. Like most vaccines, the COVID-19 vaccine is given by shots using a needle. This social story can help people understand why it’s important to get a COVID-19 vaccine and what to expect.
