Generational Diversity in the Nonprofit Workforce
In 2015, Millennials became the largest workforce in the United States, overtaking Generation X at 53.3 million people. Current practices for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities must be analyzed to prepare for this demographic shift. This training will explore the characteristics of the four generations currently in the workforce with a specific emphasis on managing within a multi-generational work environment, maximizing the potential for Millennial workers, effective communication strategies for leaders and planning for future generations in the non profit sector.
