The HCBS standards are soon to be a fact of life and we all need to be prepared to understand the standards and provide the support necessary to qualify. The Federal Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) standards tell us what individual self-directed outcomes should look like to continue qualifying for Federal funds. States have to ensure people receive support to make informed choices. This three hour, interactive and engaging workshop provides the foundation and tools to DSPs, Front-line Supervisors, and all team members who provide support to people receiving services to be truly able to lead self directed lives and to make informed decisions.
