Somebody Get Me Before I Explode: Learning to be Stress-Free in a Hectic World!
Living and working in NYC can be one of the most exciting, culturally rich, and beautiful places in the world, but it can also be one of the most stressful and volatile cities. Yet sometimes, despite our best efforts, we still get stressed out. It might happen in the morning on the way to work with overcrowded trains, people bumping into you, being rude, and acting as if you are invisible. Often, we take that stress with us throughout the day - and even to work.
In this session, participants will learn to identify personal, social, and emotional triggers, and will learn various coping skills to address them in a professional and harmonious manner. Learn to let go of that anger and stress, and to develop skills to ensure a productive and creative day!
This training will:
- Increase participants’ communication skills
- Provide an opportunity for creative self-expression in a safe environment
- Offer concrete self-care techniques for greater productivity
