While working generally refers to performing tasks for compensation, we look at work as the ability to be productive in a variety environments, including competitive employment. Productivity is defined as participation in purposeful and meaningful experiences including, but not limited to, work, volunteerism, personal development, etc. Through this participation we are viewed as contributing to, not burdening society. The resources presented here were designed with the intention of illustrating person centered philosophy in action, by providing support and tools to facilitate conversations which will impact the development and implementation of person centered planning.
