Baseball's All-Star Game is tonight, and like every baseball fan, I’m looking forward to it! I’ve always been a baseball fan! Just at my baseball book collection at home! Increases whenever I get cash! My first hero was a baseball player. A Hall of Famer from Puerto Rico -- Roberto Clemente. I remember doing my first oral report on him for my English class in high school.

I've always dreamed of becoming a baseball beat reporter, covering the games. Yet here’s the thing! I've seen college baseball championship games on ESPN, as well as college Softball Championships, and I’ve noticed often times they will cover the Little League Championship games.

I've had the honor of covering three baseball leagues: Beep Baseball,a softball league for people with visual impairments, , Wheelchair Softball Tournament Championships at Citi Field, and a softball league for the Deaf.  Why no coverage of any of the games? Is it because they are not seen as broadcasts that can sells lots of commercials? Or is it that Madison Avenue is just not interested and don't think any of these athletes can make money with endorsement deals?

Ken Burns' baseball documentary never mentioned Latin Americans players or people with disabilities. And they say “Baseball is America’s Pastime.”
