Congratulations to Dr. David Kaufman, Medical Director at Premier HealthCare, a member of the YAI Network, on his promotion to Associate Clinical Professor in the Deparment of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. As part of his curriculum, Dr. Kaufman, a pediatric neurologist who has taught at the medical school for almost three decades, introduces students to best practices for patients with developmental disabilities.

“I am very gratified to be involved with teaching medical students, interns and residents and I hope to continue for many years,” said Dr. Kaufman. “The residents I teach get to know patients and staff at Premier HealthCare, which helps them develop a better understanding of issues pertaining to people with disabilities and effective ways to treat them."
