NEW YORK – The YAI Network is pleased to announce that Lee Alexander has joined the YAI Board of Trustees.

Alexander is executive vice president, chief information officer and head of the Technology Services Group (TSG) at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He also serves on the Bank's Management Committee.

"We are fortunate to have someone of Lee's caliber joining our Board of Trustees," Jeff Mordos, Chairman of the Board, said. "His intellect, experience and knowledge will be an invaluable asset for YAI as we continue to move forward in this era of transformation."

New York State is changing the way people with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive services, in part by placing a greater emphasis on self-directed care and quality improvement and measurement.

"Lee comes to YAI at a critical time as we are rethinking how we provide services," said George Contos, CEO. "As we develop new models to promote independence, technology will play a major role in our work."

"I'm honored and inspired to be joining the Board," Alexander said. "I’m excited to have the opportunity to enhance the lives of the thousands of people YAI supports."

Alexander has more than 25 years of international management and development experience with premier firms in the technology and financial services industry including Oracle and AXA Equitable.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computing science and a master’s in business administration from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
