Who:  YAI and the Center for Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies of the City University of New York’s Graduate Center

What:  12th Latino Health Care Conference–El Enfoque Centrado en la Persona: ¿Hacia dónde nos dirigimos? (Person-Centered Approach: What Direction are We Going?). This free, one-day conference will be entirely in Spanish and will include presenters from throughout the YAI Network and other experts in the field. All presenters have a deep understanding of the needs of families who have a child with a disability, and the professionals who support them.

Keynote speaker: Erika Ruiz, International Speaker and Founder/Facilitator of Laughter Yoga

Sessions will cover autism, guardianship, person-centered planning and much more.

When: Tuesday, May 10, 2016, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served

Why: The conference is designed to provide Spanish speaking family members access to information, support, and resources pertaining to developmental disabilities in their native language
