Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Alex is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a NJ-certified elementary school teacher, and a NJ-certified teacher of students with disabilities. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in teaching from The College of New Jersey and completed the post-master’s degree program in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Caldwell University. Alex has 11 years of experience working with children with disabilities and 4 years of experience working in the ABA field. He began his professional career as a public-school teacher working in an ABA classroom in NJ. During this time, he also provided in-home ABA services through private agencies in NJ. He also has experience working with adults with disabilities in group homes throughout New York City. Alex enjoys helping children develop the foundational skills to learn and foster independence. He loves collaborating with paraprofessionals, teachers, and other professionals to ensure each child at MSA receives an optimal and individualized education.
