Transitional Coordinator and Guidance Counselor

Sara Rabinowitz is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker. She completed her MSW at Adelphi University, Garden City and her BSW at The University of Sydney, Australia.

Sara has had the privilege of working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 20 years. Prior to joining the team at MSA Upper School she was the Clinical Coordinator at Roosevelt Children’s Center, working with medically fragile, multiply disabled pre-school children and their families. She worked as a psychotherapist at YAI-Center for Specialty therapy, with children and adolescents with I/DD and co-occurring mental health issues and as a Senior Supervisor in the Supportive Living Unit at YAI.
