Special Education Teacher
Sarah is so excited to join the MSA Upper School community this year! She graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Human Development and minors in education and disability studies. Sarah is originally from Chicago but moved to NYC after college where she has taught elementary special education at a charter school and student taught at a self-contained high school for students with disabilities. Sarah is working towards her Masters in Intellectual Disability/Autism at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has been working with kids and adults with disabilities since meeting her best friend who has Down syndrome at a young age. Sarah has worked in a variety of settings and is especially passionate about life skills and transition programming! She is so excited to be back at Manhattan Star after observing here as a student observer!
