Pre-Vocational Program

NIPD/NJ offers a pre-vocational program building social skills and employability. This program runs year-round social and vocational groups aiming to provide adults with structure, support, and growth in the areas of employability and interpersonal communications. By participating in these groups, members can create and maintain meaningful relationships, develop and improve social skills, enhance job seeking and maintaining skills, reduce stress and build confidence.  

Groups take place in Wayne and Lake Hiawatha in New Jersey.

Supported Employment

NIPD/NJ offers supported employment services to help adults find and keep jobs (offered in in Bergen, Passaic and surrounding counties).

Our one-on-one support includes:

• Pre-employment training
• Job coaching on the job site
• Help with benefits
• Travel training

• Other workplace support (not just job skills) to ensure success

This individualized approach helps people reach their employment goals.
