On December 3, YAI hosted a conversation at the United Nations Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities exploring its partnership with the Royal Commission for AlUla in Saudi Arabia. The panel discussion, “Capacity-building – A roadmap to developing community level supports through global partnerships” highlighted the importance of collaboration among providers, civil society, and government necessary to establish high-quality supports for children and adults with disabilities which meet international accreditation standards.

Watch the full conversation to learn about YAI’s work with the Royal Commission for AlUla and the process for building comprehensive disability supports that engage the entire community.
