Continuing Education for Licensed Social Workers

Group work helps individuals to enhance their social functioning and cope more effectively with their personal, group or community problems. It can also be an effective method to motivate and encourage active learning, develop key critical-thinking, communication, and decision-making skills. This training will give attendees a variety of techniques to use while running social-sexual focused groups.

At the end of this course, attendees will learn how to use YAI's Sex and Social Skills in the City curriculum, as well as other resources, to help the people they support learn skills that will enable them to better navigate social situations.
