Why does a service say "must live at home with family"?
“Family Support Services” are OPWDD funded services developed to help families who are caring for a loved one at home, as an alternative to placement in a state-funded residential setting. The types of services and amount of funding provided are decided on the regional level. As a result, these services require that the person is living at home in the region that the service is being provided in.
