That’s where YAI hosted over 800 people along the parade route during the country’s oldest and largest Thanksgiving Day event.

“We are so proud to be able to provide a place where people can enjoy this unique holiday tradition,” said YAI event organizer Ulli Fenninger. “This is our 20th year of being here and the response has been overwhelming.”

They included people who YAI supports, active military personnel and veterans and families from Inheritance of Hope, a non-profit organization helping parents and children navigate the challenges of terminal illness. YAI employees were also there as volunteers to provide assistance, especially to those in wheelchairs and with other disabilities.
