Jimmy O’Brien

Director of Behavior Support, MSA

Jimmy O’Brien is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) who has been supporting children and families through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since the early 1990s. Throughout his career, he has worked in many roles—including classroom support, therapy, supervision, and consulting—giving him a deep understanding of how to meet each child’s unique needs. Jimmy has partnered with schools, families, and programs in both home and community settings, helping to create supportive classrooms, practical learning plans, and helpful strategies for everyday life.

Jimmy was the first BCBA during MSA’s infancy. He returned to MSA in 2019 as the upper school’s behavior analyst, and in 2025, he became the Director of Behavior Support across both locations. Jimmy believes learning should always be focused, meaningful, and fun.
