Autism Diagnostic Assessments

YAI's Center for Specialty Therapy provides diagnostic evaluations to assist in determining the presence or absence of autism according to guidelines of the State of New York through the use of well-substantiated measures. Tests typically used include the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-II (ADOS) and Childhood Autism Rating Scales (CARS). Recommendations are made based on direct observation and interaction, interviews, and available records.
