Interagency Council Guidance on Response to COVID-19
Interagency Council (IAC) has created a list of guidance documents and other information related to COVID-19. Up to date guidance related to program and agency functions, is available for review from the CDC, OPWDD, Governer Cuomo and other New York State agencies.

Economic Impact Payments for Social Security and SSI Beneficiaries with Representative Payees
The Social Security Administration issued an update about COVID-19 Economic Impact Payments (EIP) to certain groups of Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries. Beneficiaries who have their regular monthly payments managed for them by another person, called a representative payee, will begin receiving their EIPs from the IRS in late May
Resources for Immigrant Communities During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The City of New York is committed to helping New Yorkers significantly affected by the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Many city services are available to all New Yorkers no matter what your immigration status is and regardless of your ability to pay, although other eligibility requirements may apply.
COVID-19 Resources by Neighborhood
Residents of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island can visit nyc.gov to learn about available resources filtered by neighborhood. The resource guides include information on COVID-19 Guidance, healthcare, financial support, civic engagement, and food assistance. The resource lists also include information on the most up-to-date guidance for businesses and other commercial and residential facilities in NYC. Some resources are available for in-person services, while others offer remote and delivery options.
IEPs & Remote Learning Plans: What's the difference?
IncludeNYC created a helpful tip sheet to explain the difference between IEPs and remote learning plans. All New York City Department of Education (DOE) students with an IEP should now have remote learning plans in place.

This fact sheet, created by SPAN Parent Advocacy Network, provides information on the provision of Early Intervention Services in New Jersey during the Coronavirus pandemic. It explains how Early Intervention (EI) services can be delivered remotely, provides information on evaluations, best practices for telehealth, and the transition to preschool.

New Jersey Department of Education Updates on Providing Special Education and Services During COVID-19
The New Jersey Deprtment of Education released infromation on temporary modifications to special education regulations. This memo serves to notify schools, local educational agencies, parents of students with disabilities, and the general public of a change to the regulations concerning the provision of special education and related services to students with disabilities during the public-health related extended school closures resulting from COVID-19.

New Yorkers with symptoms or questions about COVID-19 can call 1.844.692.4692 (1.844.NYC.4NYC) to connect to a medical provider free of charge 9am-9pm.

"Let's Learn NYC!"
Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza announced the launch of "Let’s Learn NYC!", a new educational public television program produced by the WNET Group in partnership with the New York City Department of Education (DOE) featuring lessons for children in 3K through second grade that will supplement remote learning.

American Red Cross Virtual Family Assistance Center
The American Red Cross is operating a virtual Family Assistance Center to provide comfort and support, information and referrals for New York State families that have lost loved ones to the COVID-19 Coronavirus. The virtual Family Assistance Center will link families to crisis counselors who will provide emotional and spiritual support, as well as information and referrals to help them navigate the challenging process they might be facing as a result of their loved one’s death.
Free Face Covering Distribution
New York City will be distributing face coverings in parks, DOE Grab & Go meal sites, NYCHA buildings, some Mitchell-Lama buildings, grocery stores, and during social distancing enforcement. All New Yorkers are required to wear a mask or face covering when out in public and in situations where a 6-foot distance from others cannot be maintained.
Coronavirus and the New York State Courts
The New York State court system has suspended all nonessential court functions until further notice. Family Court is only addressing emergencies, such as child protection and domestic violence cases. For further guidance on current N.Y. State court regulations please visit their website.

OPWDD Emergency Phone Number
During evenings and weekends, people are asked to contact the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) emergency number. This phone number should only be contacted for emergency situations. For non-emergencies, please contact the Front Door Office in your county of residence.
