YAI to Host Annual Autism Conference May 20 and Conferencia Latina June 3
Both Conferences to be Livestreamed for the First Time Ever

YAI is pleased to announce that two of our major conferences, our Autism Conference and Conferencia Latina, will go live online on Wednesday, May 20, and Wednesday, June 3, respectively. Both conferences are possible through continued funding and collaboration with the New York City Council’s Autism Initiative.

YAI’s Autism Conference promises to be a two-hour event full of inspiration, education, and a Keynote to be delivered by Chantal Sicile-Kira, autism advocate and author. Sicile-Kira's presentation, Greatly I Dream...Keeping Sight of the Dream Even When Daylight Comes, will dive into the experiences of supporting her son’s growth into a self-sustaining adult.

The Conferencia Latina will also be a two-hour event entirely in Spanish that focuses on helping Spanish-speaking people in the intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) community connect with others and understand the resources available to them.
