Gary is the acting Chief Executive Officer at YAI and has played a key role in expanding the organization’s services for nearly 30 years. 

Gary can speak to the history of YAI and the programs and services it offers, as well as general I/DD topics, including de-institutionalization and self-direction.

Technology & Innovation Expert

Supervisor of YAI’s Center for Innovation and Engagement

Judith leads the YAI Center for Innovation and Engagement, which offers personalized tech solutions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

With over 33 years of experience supporting people with I/DD, she is available to discuss assistive and personalized technology and the deep benefits they provide.

Legislative Expert

As YAI’s Director of Government Relations, Scott advances meaningful policy change through strategic advocacy. This includes drafting legislation that passed in both the New York City Council and the New York State Legislature.

Scott can provide insights on current and proposed policies that impact people with I/DD.

Sexual Health Expert

Director of YAI Knowledge, Consuelo Senior is YAI’s resident expert on sexual health. She has supported people with I/DD for over 25 years in creating meaningful personal relationships. She also creates training programs for corporations, lawyers, EMTs, police departments, and the like, to understand how to better work and communicate with people with I/DD. 

Connie is a fierce advocate for sex-positive supports and services for the I/DD community, and would be happy to discuss any related topic.

Workforce Inclusion Strategist

As Deputy Director of Employment Services, Bonnie oversees the employment services offered to people with I/DD at YAI, including prevocational programs, career coaching, and job placements.  

She can provide insights on current workforce trends and how people with I/DD can be prepared for the evolving landscape.

Services & Impact Specialist

With over three decades of experience, Toni is Senior Director of Intake and Special Projects and an expert in program operations and management; she oversees a variety of special projects throughout YAI.

Toni is available to discuss YAI’s projects and services in detail and how they impact the people with I/DD that YAI serves. She is also happy to speak generally about the I/DD field.
