My article is about David Ruprecht. He is the host of the show called Supermarket Sweep. Ruprecht is born on October 14, 1948 and he is 76 years old. David is an American television and stage actor and game show host. Ruprecht has hosted the live stage show of the Price is Right. He began acting in television commercials in the late 1970's. He guest starred on a television show playing Janet Wood’s fiancé on the hit show call Three’s Company. In the last episode, he gets married to Janet Wood and they say goodbye to everybody and head off together.  

He also played Dan Ryan on Days of Our Lives from 1990 to 1992. He costarred in the Broadway and Showtime productions of Perfectly Frank and did voiceover work for the 1985 animated series Yogis Treasure Hunt.  

In 1990, Ruprecht began hosting Supermarket Sweep and held the job until the show's cancellation in 2003. He auditioned as an announcer for the 2020 ABC revival of the show with host Leslie Jones. Rupercht was born in St. Louis, Missouri to a Lutheran minister. He grew up in Florida and graduated from Northeast High School in St. Peterburg, Florida in 1996.  

David Ruprecht previously served on the board of directors for the Downsize DC Foundation. He is a former Executive Director of the Libertarian Party of California and a longtime member of Rotary International. He has been married twice. His first marriage to actress Ann Wilkinson ended in divorce. He married choreographer Patti Colombo in November 1988. Ruprecht is a practicing member of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod.
