My anniversary was on Halloween day on the 31^st. 

For the past 21 years I have lived independently in my own apartment in Brooklyn under an organization known as Job Path, which is an agency that helps individuals with disabilities find their own places and supported employment. 

In my 21 years in my apartment I have made progress in the areas of independent skills such as cooking, grocery shopping and laundry. And, as far as neighborhood-wise, where I'm currently living, my neighbors have been more than just neighbors—they have become family to me. I never had in my previous neighborhoods I lived in.  

It's going to be sad to give up my current apartment.
