Vanda came to YAI in 2016 with considerable depth and range of experience in nonprofit accounting and budget oversight. At the helm of the Financial Services Group, Vanda oversees annual audits, tax filings, statutory compliance, and YAI’s accounts payable, payroll, and billing departments. She is responsible for ensuring a steady stream of revenue from YAI’s public funders and for maintaining effective and efficient financial operations. She led YAI’s implementation of Workday, an enterprise resource planning system that has allowed YAI and its affiliates to operate more efficient Finance and HR systems. Prior to YAI, Vanda was Vice President, Finance and Administration at Saint Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center where she instituted financial systems that supported consistent growth in revenue and humane services over a three-year period. Vanda served as Controller of the Children’s Aid Society, among New York’s oldest and most heralded social service agencies, and earned her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University.
