Social Work CE Courses
In the event that after registering, you determine that you can no longer attend this training, YAI, Center for Professional Development offers refunds on the following basis for our Social Work Continuing Education courses:
Refund requests made up to 14 business days before the training: Full refund
Refund requests made after 14 business days and before 5 business days of the training: No refund. Full credit towards a future training, based on availability. Training credit must be used within 12 months of the original training date.
Refund requests made on or less than 5 business days* before the training: No refund or credit.
*Given the high demand for our trainings, no credit will be provided if the cancellation is not received 5 business days prior to the training.
In the instance of event cancellation, all registrants will be fully reimbursed.

One-Day Course: A cancellation request must be received 5 business days prior to a scheduled training in order to receive a refund.
Multiple-Day Course: A cancellation request must be received 10 business days prior to a scheduled training in order to receive a refund.
Low Registration Numbers
YAI’s Center for Professional Development reserves the right to cancel a training due to low enrollment numbers. Registrants will be notified at least 2 business days prior to the scheduled training and a full refund will be issued.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the Center for Professional Development will use one or more of the following to determine whether or not to cancel a training:
- NYC School closing
- Public Transportation cancelled or modified (i.e., above ground subways not running)
Once a determination has been made, registrants will receive a cancellation email and a message will be recorded on the Center for Professional Development’s main phone number (212.273.6577).
