Spina Bifida Resource Network (SBRN) is a source of support, information, and provides opportunities for the Spina Bifida Community to connect on a personal level. Their mission is to empower the lives of people living with Spina Bifida through Direct Family Support Service Program, advocacy, providing information about folic acid’s role in the prevention of Spina Bifida, and social opportunities. Assistance is provided for a number of issues including:
- crisis management
- supportive housing
- transportation, driver education
- vehicle modification, home accessibility modifications
- insurance
- recreation and respite
- scholarship funding
