Eligibility Information Center

For people residing in New York State the majority of YAI's services are funded by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Therefore, someone must meet OPWDD's eligibility criteria in order to access services. Understanding eligibility for services can be challenging and is something YAI LINK can help you understand. We have created some online tools to help people get started with their eligibility journey.

To help you understand where to start, you can take a few minutes and complete our eligibility survey or check out our eligibility FAQs to get answers to OPWDD eligibility. You are also welcome to call YAI LINK at 212.273.6182 and an intake specialist will help to determine your next steps in accessing supports and services.
