Free's crisis intervention aims to reduce the intensity of a person's emotional, mental, physical, and behavioral reactions to a crisis, to help people return to their level of functioning before the crisis, and assist the family unit to maintain a stable environment within the home.
Free provides this service to Long Island families in a variety of ways including mobile crisis, in-home respite, and overnight services.
