New York City’s main source of government information and non-emergency services. You can call 311 or dial 212.639.9675 outside of New York City. You can access a lot of information online such as:

  • Find out if there are train delays
  • Make a complaint (about noise, safety, parking, etc.)
  • Find out if there are changes to garbage or alternate side parking
  • Pay city bills (parking tickets, property tax, etc.)
  • Connect to other city agencies such as the Mayor's office, Welfare, etc.
  • Find affordable housing
  • Find out how to apply for food stamps
