Cristina Belarmino is the Director of the Physical Therapy Department, bringing a wealth of experience and deep passion for empowering students with complex needs. She holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is dedicated to elevating the standard of care through innovative approaches and collaborative teamwork. Dedicated to supporting students in achieving their goals, Cristina focuses on creating opportunities for them to engage in movement and develop postural control in ways that honor their unique abilities and strengths. She has been instrumental in establishing the school’s Aquatic Center, expanding therapeutic opportunities for students. Cristina also collaborated with related service providers to lead the coordination of the iHOPE Games (formerly the iHOPE Summer Olympics), an event that celebrates student achievements and fosters community engagement.
