Daniel Medina

Executive Director, Premier HealthCare

Daniel Medina is the Executive Director of Premier HealthCare at YAI, bringing more than 15 years of leadership experience across healthcare organizations, including nonprofit, private, and multi-site systems. He has led large, cross-functional teams and driven significant growth in team culture, clinical operations, access to care, and organizational performance. Prior to joining YAI, Daniel served as a Vice President of Operations in the behavioral health field and as Executive Director at Optum Landmark, where he led a 200-person team in New York City and helped position the market as a top performer nationwide. He also held senior leadership roles in a healthcare start-up at DispatchHealth, where he expanded operations across the Northeast and scaled services across multiple states.

Earlier in his career, Daniel held roles in home health, behavioral health, and residential services, including co-owning a multi-state home care business. His early work as a counselor supporting people with complex needs continues to shape his commitment to person-centered care. Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
