Kevin McManaway

Director, Lower School, Manhattan Star Academy

Kevin is a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. He earned a master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Brooklyn College and a bilingual extension in Spanish/English from Queens College. He received his bachelor’s degree in Speech with a concentration in Spanish from St. Joseph’s College. Prior to joining the Manhattan Star Academy team, Kevin worked for 16 years at the New York League for Early Learning Gramercy preschool in Manhattan. What he loves most about his job is empowering children to communicate in ways that help them to express themselves, build relationships and navigate their environment with curiosity and confidence.
