The Bridge Fund of New York City

The Bridge Fund helps prevent homelessness for vulnerable working poor people and families who are threatened with the loss of their housing but often do not qualify for emergency government assistance. Assistance may be loans or grants. You have to be in court proceedings for nonpayment of rent and you must be able to prove why this is a one-time emergency.
