New York City’s main source of government information and non-emergency services. You can call 311 or dial 212.639.9675 outside of New York City. You can access a lot of information online such as:
- Find out if there are train delays
- Make a complaint (about noise, safety, parking, etc.)
- Find out if there are changes to garbage or alternate side parking
- Pay city bills (parking tickets, property tax, etc.)
- Connect to other city agencies such as the Mayor's office, Welfare, etc.
- Find affordable housing
- Find out how to apply for food stamps
