Resource Entitlement Advocacy Program (REAP) at Mount Sinai


The Resource Entitlement and Advocacy Program (REAP), founded in 1989 with a grant from the Auxiliary Board of Mount Sinai Hospital, provides a centralized source of information and assistance regarding application and advocacy for such issues as:

  • Government entitlements Public health insurance programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and Family Health Plus)
  • Other specialized programs, including Social Security Retirement and Disability
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Program (EPIC)
  • Senior Citizens Rent Increase Exemption Program (SCRIE)
  • Home care services
